Market day at La Lizza in Siena....this is one of the biggest outdoor markets we've ever seen...it goes on and on round a huge part adjacent to the Siena football stadium. We spent some time this morning trying to find our Owl and Dragon headquarters...found them both, then went to the market. We started at the beginning and by half way, we were ready for a nap. We didn't buy too much but it was really tempting. People come from all over Tuscany for this every Wednesday market. They have bunches of shoe stalls, women's clothing, housewares, hardware and food and flowers....it's just amazing and so much fun to watch people.....
