After a really lovely breakfast at our hotel...we packed up the backpack and set out to see what we could see. What really catches our imagination is watching how people work....and in Venice, it's even more interesting since everything, from TP to oranges has to be delivered by boat. We stopped on this bridge to watch them move oranges from the boat to the calle and then watched a man with a two wheeled dollie, come and pick it up from there. We saw ambulance boats, police boats, bus boats (vaporetto), taxi boats, private boats, garbage boats and gas delivery boats....wood and cement delivery and all kinds of appliances and even fish! It was all very, very interesting...but we are glad to be back in Florence. World Cup starts tomorrow night....woohoo!
